Shoot them in the Balls

Inaction, Complicity and Direct Funding of Genocide

Introduction

The humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza has fallen to an unprecedented depth, with a horrifying and daily mounting death toll at sites managed by the US and Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF). Since its launch in May 2025, GHF aid distribution points have become perilous zones, witnessing widespread fatalities and severe injuries. Compounding this tragedy are disturbing reports of a "gamification" of violence, alongside the critical issue of GHF sites reportedly being located within designated evacuation zones, further endangering a desperate population. This article links the escalating deaths to deliberate starvation tactics employed by the Israeli government, disproportionately affecting the most vulnerable: babies and very young children. An urgent call for international accountability and a drastic re-evaluation of current diplomatic approaches is imperative.

An Unfathomable Death Toll at Perilous Aid Centres

The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), established in May 2025, claimed to address humanitarian needs, has overseen a grim and escalating number of deaths. As of 22 July 2025, the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) recorded a world-shaming 766 killings in the immediate vicinity of GHF distribution sites alone. These deaths contribute to a horrifying total of over 1,054 Palestinian civilians killed by the Israeli military whilst attempting to access aid across Gaza since May.

Eyewitness accounts and reports from organisations, such as Amnesty International, describe Israeli forces opening fire on crowds seeking sustenance, leading to mass casualties. These incidents underscore the extreme peril surrounding aid distribution and raise grave questions about the safety and efficacy of the GHF's operations, which have been criticised by the United Nations and other humanitarian groups for politicising aid and potentially serving as cover for broader strategic objectives. The sheer number of fatalities at these supposedly safe havens for aid is a damning indictment of the current approach.

Deliberate Starvation Tactics - A Silent, Deadly Scourge Targeting the Youngest

Beyond the direct violence, a related and equally abhorrent crisis is unfolding: the systematic use of starvation as a weapon of war by the Israeli government. This deliberate tactic is silently claiming even more lives, with a particular and horrifying focus on the most vulnerable members of society. Babies and very young children, already weakened by displacement and trauma, are succumbing to malnutrition and dehydration at an alarming rate. Restricting the flow of essential food, water and medical supplies creates a man-made famine, which constitutes an attempt to restrict aid to starve and inflict genocide upon the Palestinian people. This calculated deprivation adds a layer of immense cruelty, ensuring that even those who escape direct bombardment face a slow, agonising death. The disproportionate impact on infants and toddlers highlights the deliberate nature of this strategy, aiming to cripple future generations.

The Disturbing Trend of "Gamified" Targeting

Adding a horrifying dimension to the violence is the emergence of a "gamification" of targeting. Dr Nick Maynard has observed a "very clear pattern of specific targeting of specific body parts on different days." This includes instances where individuals arrive with gunshot wounds exclusively to the head or neck on one day, followed by concentrated injuries to the chest, or abdomen on others. Most disturbingly, there have been reports of young teenage boys arriving with gunshot wounds solely to their testicles. This "clustering of injuries against specific body parts" shows a calculated and systematic approach, which Dr Maynard characterises as "almost as if a game is being played," representing an "appalling pattern" of violence that compounds the already horrific death toll.

GHF Sites within Evacuation Zones - A Double Jeopardy

A critical concern that amplifies the danger to civilians is the reported placement of some GHF sites within designated evacuation zones. This strategic location places an already displaced and vulnerable population in a deadly dilemma: seeking essential aid within areas that are simultaneously under intense military activity or bombardment. This situation exacerbates the risk of harm, transforming what should be safe havens for aid distribution into potential death traps for those desperately seeking sustenance, further inflating the number of avoidable casualties.

Western Governments - Inaction, Complicity and Direct Funding of a Catastrophe

The international community, particularly Western Governments, has largely responded to this unfolding catastrophe with a shocking degree of inaction. Whilst decrees may be issued and sanctions announced, these measures are demonstrably insufficient to halt the relentless killing and starvation. The scale of the humanitarian disaster and the systematic nature of the reported violence demand a far more robust and decisive response. The current approach fails to adequately protect civilians, ensure unimpeded humanitarian access or hold perpetrators accountable.

The United States' Role and Funding of the GHF

Grave concerns surround the direct involvement and financial backing provided by the current United States administration, under President Donald Trump. In late June 2025, the US State Department approved $30 million in funding for the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, a decision that controversially bypassed usual vetting standards and waived legal requirements for congressional consultation. This move has drawn fierce criticism, notably from Senator Jeanne Shaheen, who highlighted that since the US began supporting the GHF, more than 700 starving people have been killed and nearly 5,000 injured whilst desperately seeking food at GHF distribution sites. This $30 million is on top of the several hundred million required to set this array of shooting galleries up.

Human rights lawyers have indicated that actions witnessed at GHF sites, such as the firing upon unarmed civilians attempting to obtain aid, prima facie constitutes war crimes. Continued financial backing from the US government, amidst these escalating casualties and the clear evidence of starvation tactics, makes the current administration complicit in the unfolding humanitarian disaster. This direct funding, from a perspective of those condemning the violence, serves to enable a system that has proven to be a "death trap" for the desperate people of Gaza. A failure to move beyond symbolic gestures to concrete and impactful interventions renders these governments complicit in the ongoing suffering and the mounting death toll. True leadership necessitates tangible actions that prioritise human life and uphold international law, rather than merely observing its blatant violations. The question that must be asked is, “why has Trump, usually belching out an opinion on everything, remained quiet on the slaughter of civilians he is signing the cheques for?”

Boston Consulting Group's Enduring Accountability

Of course, whilst Trump is the signal to proceed with the killing of civilians,, this is nothing without the recruitment of services to put this in place. Boston Consulting Group (BCG) was instrumental in the establishment of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation sites. Whilst BCG has reportedly withdrawn from direct involvement, their initial role in designing and implementing these operations carries an enduring moral and ethical accountability. Their considerable expertise, influence and network of contacts could and should be leveraged to actively redress their involvement in a framework that has demonstrably led to such horrific casualties and suffering. Accountability extends beyond withdrawal; it demands active participation in mitigating the negative consequences of their past actions and contributing to a more just and safe humanitarian framework for all those affected by this brutal conflict.

A Call for Unprecedented Accountability and Justice

The situation in Gaza, marked by an escalating death toll, the depraved targeting of civilians, the deliberate use of starvation and the tragic irony of aid sites becoming zones of peril, necessitates an unprecedented level of international accountability. The current framework of diplomatic pressure has proven tragically inadequate. To genuinely uphold international law and protect human life, a more direct and assertive approach is required. In the face of such profound human rights violations and alleged war crimes, the international community should consider forming an International squad to capture Benjamin Netanyahu and serve the ICC warrant on him. This direct action would signal a resolute commitment to justice and serve as a powerful deterrent against future atrocities, demonstrating that no individual, regardless of their position, is above the reach of international law.
